“My past creative work has taken me through designing textiles, to surface decoration, to interior space transformation, as well as serving as gallery director and curating shows. My more recent years have been spent working on canvas. My current ongoing series “Flowers, Wild & Tame” and the “Mist Series” explore the area between atmospheric botanicals and semi-conscious dream states. My personal time in the garden has connected me with the cycles of life and I have found myself using flower names almost as mantras to induce a calming sense in myself. My hope is that my paintings also reflect this inner state aesthetically to others or to the space in which it is shown."
